Out  with the dogs today I found these brave (optimistic?) daisies poking their heads up through the grass in the park.

Today we have a blind date set up for Princess Chloe The First and The Diva.  They don’t know it yet, but they will be meeting their new brother, The Big Guy.  To be sure of a nice peaceful meeting, I brought them along early and gave them a good walk along the causeway to Bull Island, so they have used up their energy and feel nice and relaxed.

Not so easy

I’ve been dabbling a bit with acrylic paints, and liking it.  However, there is a box of watercolours at the back of the shelf that kept telling me they were soooo easy to use. I should have known better.

One afternoon of frustration later, this is what I came up with.

I think I’ll be sticking to acrylics from now on.
