It's my turn now!

Finally, about time... Yours truly confused got her act together and opened up my blog. So much for the Diva and the Princess, I’m the oldest, the wisest and the smartest. While Dizzy Izzy is busy, and Princess Chloe is making her power play, I am the one who quietly takes the biscuit, or commits the crime and sits by while the girls do the time.

Anything Izzy can do....

Yea!  Anything that Diva can do, I can do better! I was here first .. see my title? Princess Chloe the FIRST!  Eat shoes?  I got the heels of Jenny's best shoes long before Dizzy Busy Izzy was a twinkle in her pedigree papa's eye. If I could get near near her new hiking boots, she won't be overcoming any mountains with them.  Demolish stuff... I've taken out the glass panel in the back door (twice) and the flattened the bathroom cabinet with my head.

Just because some people are cute and fluffy doesn't mean they can march in and take over Baskerville Manor - I'm the in-charge dog round here, and don't anybody forget it.

I've had words with Yours Truly, Confused, and she's seen the error of her ways so I am pleased to announce the arrival of my personal blog - Princess Chloe the First.

DizzyBusyIzzy says Hi!

039Just a quick note to tell the world that I am now a contributor to Welcome to Baskerville Manor. My posts will probably be a little short at first, it's hard to type when the hair on your paws is about two inches long and full of garden.

While I’m waiting for the human to create my very own page, here’s a picture of me for you to admire.

Timmie’s new dining arrangement

IMG00120-20120214-1908

Timmie has been getting a little stiff lately. He doesn’t like coming down the stairs without an escort and he has trouble getting to his feet on the laminate floor – which is a great excuse for the proprietor not to polish it!

He’s been unhappy at mealtimes for the last week or two – he would start to eat, back off, circle the bowl and then try again, but it was clear he’s been having difficulty bending down to get his grub or have a drink. Unlike Chloe, who will eat in any position, Timmie is a gentleman and likes to be formal at dinner, so he won’t eat or drink lying down. Being something of a magpie, I couldn’t quite bear to get rid of the Roses tins left over from Christmas, and now I’m really pleased I didn’t – they are just the right height and balance to hold his bowl in just the right place so Timmie can concentrate on getting his calories.

A tall dark stranger came for breakfast this morning, and I met a fireman too

That might have got your attention.
Unfortunately, for those of you who feel I might deserve a more interesting love-life, once more, it was all about the dogs.

You know how hard it is to get decent pictures of your dogs….

The girls being nice to each other, for once…

Every pet owner knows that their little darlings are not always inclined to co-operate when a camera is pointed at them. My little band have a tendency to scatter to the four points of the compass the moment they hear the “on” button on my trusty SLR. There are only three dogs, but somehow, they manage to do it…

So imagine my delight when, after retrieving Izzy from Auntie Maria at Doggy Dazzlers, Chloe decided to add a few finishing touches to Izzy’s brand new coiffure.  Or… more likely.. she just liked the taste of the shampoo..
